Change of Mind Returns
If you've changed your mind about an unwanted item, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order. To qualify, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll issue a full refund minus the original delivery cost. A 10% restocking fee may apply.
Please note: for hygiene and safety reasons, opened e-liquids, e-cigarettes, and refill pods cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Items damaged through wear and tear or improper handling are also not eligible for return.
To start a return, contact our team by email at "support@thebritishvapes.co.uk". All returns must be approved by us in advance — unauthorised returns will not be processed or refunded. Please pack items securely and use a tracked shipping service. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.
Faulty Items
If your item arrives faulty, let us know within 48 hours by emailing support@thebritishvapes.co.uk. We'll work with you to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
If a fault is reported within 30 days of purchase, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. If we find the item isn't actually faulty, or the fault resulted from misuse or accidental damage, we won't be able to offer a refund or exchange, and return postage costs will apply.
All returns must be authorised by us first — unauthorised returns will not be processed.
Specific Product Categories
- USB charging ports: damage to charging ports (for example, bent pins) is not covered under warranty.
- Coils and atomisers: these are consumable parts with a limited lifespan. We'll happily replace a dead-on-arrival coil reported within 48 hours, but burnt or misused coils are not eligible for refund.
- Replacement pods: these are consumable items and are not covered by warranty.
E-Liquids and Tank Compatibility
Certain e-liquid flavour concentrates (such as citrus or aniseed-based flavours) can degrade polycarbonate tanks over time. We're not able to offer refunds for tank damage caused by e-liquid compatibility — please check your tank material before use.
Disposable Vapes
Disposable vapes are single-use, consumable products and are not covered by warranty. Puff counts shown on packaging are manufacturer estimates only and are not guaranteed, so we can't offer refunds where a device doesn't reach its advertised puff count.
Failed or Missed Deliveries
All orders are sent using a tracked delivery service. If you're not available to receive a parcel and it is returned to us, you'll be responsible for the cost of re-delivery, and a 10% restocking fee may apply. Original delivery charges are non-refundable.
How Refunds Are Processed
Once we receive your returned item, we'll inspect it and let you know the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 30 days. If a return is due to misuse or damage, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund or charged separately.
