Which GTX Resistance Should You Choose?
0.15 ohm runs 60W to 75W, best around 70W, for the biggest clouds and airiest DTL draw. 0.2 ohm runs 45W to 60W, best around 55W, for a strong balance of cloud and flavour. 0.3 ohm runs 32W to 45W, best around 40W, for a restricted DTL draw with more flavour focus. 0.4 ohm runs 26W to 32W, best around 30W, sitting between DTL and MTL. 0.6 ohm runs 20W to 30W, best around 28W, for a gentler restricted DTL draw. 0.8 ohm runs 12W to 20W for a proper MTL draw, and 1.2 ohm runs 8W to 12W for the tightest, most cigarette like draw in the range.
What Devices Are GTX Coils Compatible With?
GTX coils fit a wide range of Vaporesso devices, including the LUXE XR, XR Max and XR Pro, the TARGET PM80, PM80 SE and PM30, SWAG PX80, GEN NANO, XIRON, GTX One, GTX Tank and LUXE PM40. Not every resistance fits every device, particularly the 1.2 ohm option on newer kits, so always check your device's compatible resistance range before ordering. Best E-Liquids to Pair With GTX Coils
Your e-liquid choice depends on which resistance you're using. For the DTL range (0.15 to 0.6 ohm), high VG shortfill e-liquids work best. For the MTL range (0.8 and 1.2 ohm), higher PG e-liquids and nic salts are a better match. Browse the full e-liquids range to compare both types.
Why Choose Vaporesso

How to Replace Your Coil
- Turn off your device and remove the pod or tank.
- Empty any remaining e-liquid before removing the old coil.
- Press the old coil out and press the new GTX coil firmly into place.
- Refill and let the coil sit for a few minutes before vaping, so it can fully saturate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which GTX resistance should I choose?
0.15 to 0.6 ohm suit direct to lung vaping with bigger clouds, while 0.8 and 1.2 ohm suit a tighter mouth to lung draw. Check your device's compatible range first.
What devices are GTX coils compatible with?
A wide range, including the LUXE XR series, TARGET PM series, SWAG PX80, GEN NANO and XIRON, though not every resistance fits every device.
How often should I replace my coil?
Most vapers get 5 to 6 tank refills, or roughly one to two weeks of daily use, before flavour starts to fade.
Can I use nic salts with GTX coils?
Yes, but only with the higher resistance MTL options (0.8 and 1.2 ohm). The lower resistance DTL coils are built for high VG e-liquid instead.
Please note: vape coils and hardware are restricted to buyers aged 18 and over under UK law. Always check your device's compatible resistance range before use, and prime a new coil before vaping.
